I have just received the pack from the BMFA for 2012, they have put the insurance up this time. Seniors £31.00 up by £2.00
Juniors £16.00 up by £1.00 Some of you have already sent me a cheque for £34.00 so I will have to ask you to arrange some how to pay the extra money, may be at the AGM,if not in the post.
Thanks. Dave Many thanks to our Guest Speaker: John Farley OBE AFC CEng, for a wonderful evening. John Farley first flew the P.1127 in 1964 while a test pilot at the Royal Aircraft Establishment. He spent 19 years contributing to the development of the Harrier, retiring as Chief Test Pilot BAe Dunsfold. He then spent five years as Manager of Dunsfold and a further two as Special Operations Manager at BAe Kingston. In 1990 he became the first Western test pilot to fly the MiG-29 fighter. He is currently part of the Farnborough Aircraft team developing the F1 air taxi. The Photo Completetion is now Closed and final juding will be carried out At the AGM. see below for details.  |
